Big Port City Wins in 2025

With more than 130 reported feature wins across the country, 2025 was an outstanding year to own a Port City racecar. We’re proud to highlight our customers’ success, and one way we celebrate their accomplishments is through our winner graphics. Here are a few big moments from the 2025 season.

March 1, 2025 – Las Vegas Bullring

The Lake Oswego, Oregon driver, Kole Raz, kicked off his 2025 season with some momentum. By the time he arrived for the CARS Tour West event at the Las Vegas Bullring, he already had two starts under his belt, both at vastly different venues.

His year began with a runner-up finish in the Chilly Willy at Tucson Speedway, followed by a strong 6th-place performance in the ARCA race at Daytona. Going into the Bullring at Las Vegas, Raz qualified 6th in the 125-lap feature and went on to lead more than one-third of the race, securing a dominant victory and the first of many Port City Racecars wins in 2025.

April 12, 2025 – Cordele Motor Speedway

The CARS Tour is a showcase of top-tier talent, and early in their 2025 season, a Port City chassis was rolling into Victory Lane. The second Pro Late Model race of the 2025 tour brought teams to Cordele Motor Speedway, where Tristan McKee was able to capture the win at the tricky track.

McKee went on to have a packed season in both the Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model divisions, collecting seven top-five finishes across the two. His win in front of a full Georgia crowd provided the momentum he carried through the remainder of his busy 2025 campaign.

July 26, 2025 – Colorado National Speedway

The weekend in Colorado didn’t begin the way Buddy Shepherd hoped, as he rolled off near the back for the 125-lap CARS Tour West Super Late Model event. But his charge through a deep field was nothing short of impressive.

By lap 35, just after a red flag, Shepherd had climbed to 8th, with Kevin Harvick and Jacob Gomes leading the pack. Just 10 laps later, he powered into the top three. The final 60 laps were a show of intense side-by-side racing between Shepherd, Harvick, and Gomes. In the end, Shepherd prevailed, capturing one of the biggest wins of his 2025 season.

October 5, 2025 – Thunder Road International Speedbowl

After finishing 3rd in Thunder Road’s 2025 season point standings, Marcel Gravel set his sights on defending his 2024 Milk Bowl crown. The Milk Bowl, one of the track’s crown-jewel events, did not disappoint.

Gravel opened the weekend by setting fast time, then delivered an excellent performance across all three segments: wins in segments one and two, and a 3rd-place finish in segment three. He ended the 63rd annual event just two points shy of a perfect score in his bid for another Milk Bowl title.

October 5, 2025 – Tri-Cities Raceway

In his first full season behind the wheel of a Super Late Model, Ethan Ebert aimed to close out 2025 on a high note. Coming off a South Sound Speedway track championship, Ebert entered the Fall Classic, one of the Northwest’s toughest events.

A strong qualifying run placed him in the top-eight redraw. Once the green flag dropped, Ebert immediately focused on tire conservation, something many young drivers struggle with early in their careers. The strategy paid off. With the best car in the closing laps, he battled side-by-side with 2023 Northwest Super Late Model Series Champion Haeden Plybon, where Ebert would ultimately come out on top to claim the Fall Classic crown.

The 2025 season is not over yet, and Port City Racecars are still looking to capture a few more wins to end this year. We are really excited to help get our customers prepared to get back to victory lane in 2026.
