Sweet Manufacturing has been a leader in Power Steering Servos for many years and continues to develop parts that set our servos ahead of the rest.
Servos are what determines many things in the power steering system but most of all it controls the amount of feel or effort it takes to turn the steering wheel. Our serovos are rated by the size of the torsion bar installed with .185 being the easiest to steer and .300 being the hardest.
A .235 valve is the most popular for both Dirt and Asphalt racing, while a .200 works best for street use .
Standard servos have stood the test of time and where Sweet Manufacturings original servo. They have a larger housing and work well when being used in extreme applications. They have a 3/4-48 spline on one end and a 13/16-36 spline on the other.
A Servo is designed to be used with a power steering pump and assist cylinder. The Servo in and of itself does not generate any torque or power.
